[Warcraft III NOTD] And Then It Was Dark

So maybe I'll write a story while I mine through the entrance of my mines. The dang thing collapse and ate my forge!

....been staring at this screen for while, can't decide between a NOTD story, or a normal story, or another story.

For now, I'll just make another NOTD one.

I lumbered past the towering parade of my Chordata brothers, gunshots were fired through the trees towards us. I growled, as one of the bullets hit my kneecap. But I continued forwards, the wound slowly repaired itself and sealed shut.

I no longer felt the sensation known as, pain.

I no longer felt the emotion known as, fear.

I only felt great hunger, for blood, for flesh, for death.

I could feel their fear, even though they shouted taunts at us.

They feared me, and I laughed.

My laugh rang through the night, subtle, but loud enough for each and everyone of them to know.

That I'm here.

I drove into the ground, my large hands, or paws, clawed the dirt away as I burrowed through the ground. I could sense them, their fear heightened, and I reached for their youngest pup.

The one that feared me the most.

I grabbed his leg, he screamed as I pulled him down into the ground. I dragged him along with me, away from his friends. But I cannot wait anymore, for I hunger. I emerged and pulled him out,ready to tear through his fragile frame with my teeth. But he lifted up his weapon, and shot something to my face.

It exploded and my face took the most damage, my hard skull preventing it to reach my brain. But I was blinded, I could feel his allied coming to his rescue as he filled me with bullets.

I lunged forwards, only to be bounded to the ground by a net of nanosteel. Rounds after rounds, they unloaded heavy fire unto me. Finally they pierced through my ribs and destroyed me.

I fell, and I looked up, their pack leader looked back down with relief. And he brought his boot down towards my face.

And then it was dark.
